FAQs
What is a good clip?
For a clip to be considered good it needs to be:
HD
Good lighting
Steady camera movements
Most importantly a dope trick or crazy bail!
We won't count repetitions of you doing the same trick in the same spot
If I model for a Bullyboy shoot does that help my ranking?
No. Modelling for a Bullyboy shoot will not do anything for your ranking because when you model for a shoot you are already rewarded with the product you are modelling :)
Skating focused shoots will count since we will most likely be filming clips during these times.
When are the rankings updated?
The very end or start of every month
If I rank up to Pro Tier how much is the bonus pay?
Because Bullyboy is still a small brand with limited budget, the bonus pay will depend purely on how much budget we have. It can range from R100 to R500 or more! But our budget is very tight so I would not count on R500 or more bonus yet since we are broke (for now) :P
Does a collab post with Bullyboy count as a mention?
Yes! For something to be considered a tag mention you can either tag us in a post where the product is featured; a story tag; or if we do a collaborative post with you and we have both accepted. We cannot accept every collab post you make since we have a strict posting schedule to make our page look as aesthetic as possible.
If I share a collab post to my story does it count as 2 mentions?
No. If you did a collab post with Bullyboy and you reshare that to your story as well it won't count as 2 mentions.
Ts & Cs
Here's how it's going to work:
1. Tier Chart
We’ll be sharing a graphic that breaks down each tier — what’s expected and what you get in return (discounts, decks, apparel, etc.). This keeps it transparent and consistent for everyone.
2. Monthly Check-Ins
At the end of each month, we’ll check in to review clips and engagement. Tiers will be adjusted accordingly — so if you’re putting in work, it will show.
3. Clip Folder
Each rider will get a personal folder on Google Drive to upload footage. Just label your clips with your name and the date. This helps us track content and use it for edits, reels, etc.
4. Content Quality
Try to keep clips clean: steady filming, good lighting, proper landings. We want to represent both your skating and the brand at a solid level.
5. Team Culture
We’re building a team here — not just a brand list. That means early access to drops, features on our page, and opportunities to be part of events and projects.
6. Team Participation Terms
Bullyboy reserves the right to remove any skater from the sponsorship program at any time if they are not meeting the outlined expectations, no longer actively contributing, or no longer align with the brand’s image, values, or direction. Sponsorship is performance-based and reviewed regularly to ensure mutual growth and representation.
