Drop01 Collection: A look into Bullyboy's origin
_ _ _ _
We take a look at the launch of Bullyboy’s Drop 01 Collection, joining streetwear in South Africa, framed by the earthy, industrial backdrop of Cape Town’s surroundings.
The visual element from the patches of shrubbery and weeds growing in and among the concrete dregs of the cityscapes crafts a story that resonates with the beginning of Bullyboy as a brand. The brand's roots were first laid in Cape Town, where the brand was conceptualised as a skate and graphic grip tape hub, which later grew into its own identity.

Distinctive, progressive and form-fitting, Bullyboy’s Drop 01 Shoot places Bullyboy as a trendsetter in the South African Streetwear and Fashion scene. The brand fits into the gaps left by Johannesburg’s alternative streetwear fashion scene to the opportunities found in Cape Town’s skatewear and skate culture.
Bullyboy lays its roots where its heart lies.

Felt in the skate community, found on the walls of the city or flung upon the backs of our creatives, our brand is not just made to wear but made to be worn which is encouraged in our call to Escape The Ordinary - whatever that means to you.
This is reflected in the Oversized Graphic Tees, crafted with 100% cotton with a boxy fit and a heavy-weight feel to elevate your ambitions of what beckons you forward. Accompanying the tees, the collection features the E.T.O 5-Panel Cap. This high-quality cap has been innovative to the Cape Town Streetwear Scene with an embroidered front piece and a durable back clasp that is a classic Bullyboy red and embroidered for that high-quality feel. All of our pieces are available on the online streetwear store while stocks last or can be found in the Archive section on the Bullyboy website.
